bigdaddy Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 I found I have a buckled wheel,,,,,,,,,,,,,,so rather replace one I am going to upgrade to aftermarket wheels,,,,,,,,,,,I like these ones Quote
Masked Marauder Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 Team Dynamics are too soft, a slight clump of the kerb or a biggish pot-hole and your looking at a buckled rim. Quote
Masked Marauder Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 Just my opinion chap, there will be those who swear by them. Quote
strouf Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 Dont know how stiff they are , but they look GREAT !! Quote
mumble_bee Posted April 30, 2006 Report Posted April 30, 2006 I saw a sharan with what looked like normal sporty vw/audi alloys, prolly 17sthey looked very nice...cant you get some from a scrappy ?I dunno if I could find a pic - but they look like the audi A6 ones, if anyone knows what I mean.. Quote

Sharanfx Posted May 1, 2006 Report Posted May 1, 2006 Dont forget you can also fit Audi and Merc rims as well. Quote
bigdaddy Posted May 1, 2006 Author Report Posted May 1, 2006 Yes u are right ,,,,,I was looking at audi tt wheels on ebay,,,,lovely  Quote
Guest IAN B Posted May 4, 2006 Report Posted May 4, 2006 I don't think TT alloys will fit they are a different pcd.Have a look on here http://www.rochfordtyres.co.uk/search.asp?...rd&Model=Galaxy I think the Golf R32 18 inch alloys would look cool and the 19's even better <_< Quote
Sharanfx Posted May 12, 2006 Report Posted May 12, 2006 Not TT wheels or Mk4 golf wheels they are all 5x100. All Mk5 Golf Passat and most Merc wheels are 5x112. Quote
jkspoff Posted May 13, 2006 Report Posted May 13, 2006 Galaxy unrelated, but here goes, I have just bought some 16" alloys off good old ebay, they have tyre sizes 205,55,R16 and are for my wifes Renault Scenic, the existing wheels (non alloy) are currently 195,65,R15. I know they'll fit as they are from same year and model vehicle, however, are there any other things that may effect the car from the original wheel sizes that I should know about or will there be virtually no difference other than cosmetic ? I would appreciate any advice, thanks. Oh, wife can't understand why she would want a new set of alloys.......as she says the car already has 4 wheels ! Quote
richto Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 FYI, current Galaxy Mark III PCD is 5 x 108. ET40-ET50. Quote
